What can you build with Insulated Concrete Forms?

Cast in place concrete walls for bearing and non-bearing walls that have superior insulation built-in. You can use ICFs for foundations, exterior above grade walls, sound walls, residential, commercial, and industrial walls. ICF concrete construction is also used for retaining walls and radius walls.

What are the physical differences between an ICF wall and a wood frame wall?

An ICF concrete wall is stronger, more soundproof, more resistant to natural disasters, rot, and termites, better insulated (superior R-value) and, therefore, more energy efficient; it reduces air infiltration and benefits from the thermal mass of the concrete keeping inside insulated.
